Ubisoft has announced that not only will “Far Cry 6 DLC” receive the new sci-fi DLC “Lost Between Worlds” on December 6. But the base game itself will have a free demo version. So that those who want to try out the latest instalment of the open-world series can sample the early stages of the game. A “New Game+” mode has also been added to “Far Cry 6” to assist those seeking to complete the game.

According to the new DLC description, players will “overcome life and death challenges in this all-new Dani Rojas story. “Lost Between Worlds features deadly crystal enemies, multiple player paths, all-new lore, a wide variety of unique gameplay challenges, and more in a rich, action-packed gauntlet.” It goes on to say.
Far Cry 6 is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store.
Players can expect to face otherworldly beings called Shardfaces and 15 challenging trials called Rifts in this DLC. Upon completing each mission, players will receive new and powerful equipment that they can take back to Yara to continue exploring the rest of the game’s open world.
Additionally, a free update for “Far Cry 6 DLC” is available now. Adding a “New Game+” mode and “Completionist Aid” feature. A free demo version of “Far Cry 6” is also available on all platforms for users who have not yet purchased “Far Cry 6”.

Ubisoft also announced that it is working with Audible to fill in the narrative gaps in Far Cry 6 through a six-episode audio series covering the story up to Far Cry 6. The series will feature Giancarlo Esposito reprising his role as Anton Castillo. The audio series is expected to be released around 2023.
