Games With Gold has not been very exciting lately. Does anyone care? Nevertheless, Microsoft continues to offer Games With Gold. So here’s what you can get in December.
Xbox 360 games are long gone from the Games with Gold lineup. However, it hasn’t been replaced by anything yet, so if you are a Gold subscriber, you will only get two games again, not the previous four.
Both are Xbox One titles, but they can also be played on the Xbox Series X and S. Here’s what you need to know.
The games with gold lineup
- On December 1, you can get Colt Canyon free as part of Xbox Games With Gold.
- Bladed Fury will follow this on December 16.
Colt Canyon is a 2D pixel-art shooter in which you control a cowboy. Bandits have kidnaped your partner, and it is your job to rescue him by taking out the bandits.
Bladed Fury, on the other hand, is a 2D action game focusing on fluid combat, a fast-paced combo system, and fighting through many enemies. Based on Chinese mythology and boasting a beautiful art style, we described it as a “little gem” when we reviewed it back in 2019.

So that’s it. We have at least two decent games, so if you are a subscriber, you should add them to your library.
