In our review of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, we discussed the effects of this sequel, which improves the gameplay over the first chapter of the series and introduces new characters in combat and web-swinging, but that is not all.

On a structural level, our product is not as rich as he described in the book Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered for PC. It is completed in 7 hours and carries all of its secondary activities, which are generally negligible.

But for fantastic characterization and a compelling story, all those who enjoyed Peter Parker’s adventures were glued to the screen and found a remarkable new hero in Miles.

Going for Miles

The more engaging story is undoubtedly boosted by the fact that Insomniac has somehow managed to make being Spider-Man feel cooler than before. It may be a snow-covered version of Peter Parker’s New York City, but the developer has tweaked the near-perfect web-slinging to make it even more satisfying. This time, I feel like I have more control over wall running and steering around buildings. Moving around with a controller was the default, but I tried the keyboard, and the port developer, Nixxes, converted the input surprisingly well. It took a little getting used to, but eventually, it became as intuitive as using Dualsense.

While taking down bad guys is the same in both Spidey games, Miles has a few key additions that differentiate it. Venom’s ability allows Miles to inflict electrical damage on his enemies, making the combat a little more intense. These attacks have more weight, and the agile camerawork makes the combat seem more dynamic. However, the basic moveset remains largely the same. While not necessarily a bad thing, this may disappoint those seeking a significant evolution in combat.

Is There Any Lag In Spider-Man: Miles Morales?

There are still many stealth missions where you have to subtly balance on poles and beams and quietly keep the enemy out of sight. It’s not my favorite mission, to begin with, and it’s always tiring to scan the enemy over and over to see if they are safe in stealth takedown. Many times I’ve given up and thrown myself into the fray, but it feels so much better to smash those underground goons with a Venom Smash.

With Miles Morales’ port from PlayStation 5 to PC, the game is already a graphical feast. For the most part, the port looks equally or even more gorgeous. However, we did encounter some aliasing issues, especially in cutscenes. There were also a few graphical bugs throughout the hours in New York, such as textures not loading properly and Miles disappearing completely during loading, leaving a web of strays.
