You may already have your favorites installed, but with a game of this size, there are bound to be some that are slipping through the cracks. Here are a few of our favorites that you can download right now to enhance your Dragonflight experience.

Let’s develop your talents!

Professions are skills that you can have in the WoW world that help you craft custom items. Players returning to WoW after installing Dragonflight may be surprised to learn that Professions have been completely revamped. These changes include the addition of “quality” levels to crafted items, specialization to certain specs, and new equipment designed specifically for the Profession.

We don’t want to ruin all the surprises, but we want to be prepared. Thankfully, CurseForge’s mod manager has a section dedicated to professions, and you can even filter by type. From the Scrap add-on, which automatically sells you junk when you visit a merchant, to FarmHud, which turns your minimap into a resource-gathering machine, profession-specific add-ons can really make things easier.

Add-ons for old players and newbies

Whether you’re a newbie to WoW or a stalwart veteran of the old world, CurseForge has you covered. Whatever your level, a variety of add-ons will make your life easier, and Dragonflight has added enough new features that players of all levels may find it a bit overwhelming.

The most popular add-ons on the CurseForge WoW page are Pawn, which makes comparing items easier, and Questie, which simplifies questing by adding all relevant markers to the map. TomCat’s Tours is also popular with players who like to go head-to-head, as it provides a variety of quality-of-life elements for questing and roleplaying.

More confident players will be able to quickly master this new expansion with a Dragon Flight-specific add-on. Handy Note Dragon Flight will alert you to the location of treasures and rarities as you explore the Dragon Islands. Leatrix Plus, a popular map expansion add-on, has also recently been updated for Dragon Flight.

Professional Fighting

While you will spend a lot of time chatting, questing, crafting, and riding dragons, you will also spend a great deal of time in combat. After all, World of Warcraft is, as the name implies, a game dedicated to combating. Fortunately, CurseForge’s WoW page allows you to categorize add-ons by type, and combat is a big one. Narrow your search by boss fights, combat, or PvP to enhance your game.

Deadly Boss Mods (DBM) refine the UI and display a variety of important information about raids, boss fights, and events, making them a must-have for players of all levels. It also supports stuttering Internet connections and helps you resume from where you left off if the game crashes. Details Damage Meter is another foolproof add-on that is easy to set up and use.
