Here’s a new ad for World of Warcraft that brings together some of the biggest stars for the Dragonflight expansion. If you’re nostalgic for those 2000s TV ads featuring popular celebrities pretending to play World of Warcraft, they’re finally back! This time, they are as silly as ever.
The video begins with Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian) entering a jet hangar and promising to show us a surprise. It then cuts to David Harbour (Hopper from “Stranger Things”) proposing to show viewers “how we all do the big Hollywood VFX shots.” Lana Condor (Lara Jean Covey of the “To All The Boys” film trilogy) is then shown walking in the park with her dog.
Then it is revealed that each star has a pet dragon of their own, and they show off the cool things each dragon can do. No, the dragons don’t blend in with their surroundings, but it’s worth watching to see David Harbor’s silliness, who is undoubtedly a tennis ball.
World of Warcraft: Dragonflight will be released on November 28, allowing you to have your dragon. The launch trailer, released just yesterday, depicts kite flying as fun.
