The official launch of the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti video card is scheduled to begin in January; there was no obstacle to foreign retailers selling it before the date set by Nvidia. Some people are buying new ones from stores in Serbia. Gigabyte’s RTX 4070 Ti Gaming model was available for around $1400.
Meanwhile, a Costa Rican merchant boasted that he had already received his first shipment of RTX 4070 Ti graphics cards. The published photos show a box containing the MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Gaming X Trio model. The store has not disclosed the expected price and said it would only start taking orders when it receives permission from owner Nvidia.

The RTX 4070 Ti is scheduled to go on sale this week, on January 3. It will likely be available two days later since this novelty is a renamed RTX 4080 12GB. Its features have been kept secret for some time: an AD104 core with 7680 CUDA cores and a 192-bit bus. Passport-level TGP power of 285 watts; and a TGP power of 1,000 watts. Which is the same as the RTX 4080 Ti.
Redditor spotted a brand new RTX 4070 Ti graphics card already for sale. The card is sold with the price and model name visible to customers. This happened more than a week before NVIDIA officially lifted the sales ban.
The card is a Gigabyte Gaming OC model. This model has never appeared in leaks before, and the packaging does not reveal its design. The retailer spoiled Gigabyte’s surprise by putting this card on the shelves.
Judging by the price tag on the box, the card sells for 154,999 RSD, which equates to about US$1,400. Of course, this is an unbeatable price for this model, and the retailer is profiting from the early sale of this card.
