According to the leak, the titles coming to PlayStation Plus in January 2023 are Star Wars Jedi, Fallen Order, Fallout 76, and Axiom Verge 2. Fallout 76 is already part of the “Extra” tier.
All three titles will appear in the “Essential” tier of the service. Moreover, these titles are somewhat well-timed: since Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is scheduled to be released in March 2023, having Star Wars Jedi: Survivor means having Since “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor” is due out in March 2023, having “Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order” on the list of free games is a good move, at least from a marketing standpoint.
Fallout 76 is already part of the “Extra” tier. With the large influx of players in recent months, moving it down to the “Essential” tier would be beneficial. Bethesda cites in its official blog post that the game recorded a whopping 13.5 million players in 2022.
