In addition, his team had warned Musk about the hectic rollout of the new Blue Subscription, but Musk ignored them. He settled for warning that the lack of veteran policy and safety employees would soon hurt Twitter.
Twitter is no longer safe
Over the past month, Twitter has been in the news for several developments. Most of them were triggered by Elon Musk, who acquired the company in late October. He revived some of the controversial accounts and fired half the staff. Rolled out a revamped Blue Subscription that triggered serious spoofing effects.
All of these actions were warned of dire consequences. Still, Musk’s reportedly ignored them – says Yoel Ross, Twitter’s former head of trust and safety. In his first public interview since leaving Twitter, he said that since Musk’s acquisition. Twitter has become safer since Musk’s acquisition, he said.

While initially optimistic about Musk’s plans, he watched them unfold; Roth noted that since Musk took over. There has been a concerted trolling campaign on Twitter that has resulted in racist slurs.
It is outrageous to shut down the PR team and only point to his (Musk’s) own tweets to let the community know what is going on with the company.

Musk had previously stated that he would set up a moderation council to make major policy decisions for Twitter. But he ignored this and decided on his own.
In addition, Roth said his team had warned Musk about the serious consequences of failing to roll out Blue subscriptions and the new authentication system, but Musk ignored them anyway.
And there were no safeguards in place to deal with it.”
These statements came as Mr. Musk prepared to re-launch Blue subscriptions as he wished. He stated that different accounts would be badged with different colors and certain important accounts would be manually authenticated, but the process is unreliable.
