He said, “At the end of the season activity you have 150 emotes and an average of 0-2 championships, and there’s a mechanism where you can earn more if you slow down the drilling, and you do that 250 times. So it’s really more about turning [the brain] off,” he says.

Each seasonal activity takes at least 10 minutes, and shadow evil likely spent at least 250 hours, or the equivalent of more than 10 days, on Emotion activities alone. Ultimately, he attributes his inner compulsion to pursue all of the active Triumphs.
Of all the Triumphs, he found “Stop Hitting Yourself Triumph” in the Garden of Salvation to be the most challenging: after destroying 20 combatants in Vex Instantiation, the challenge was to defeat the Sanctified Mind boss. Building and rebuilding the platform according to the raid’s mechanics can prove difficult because of the frustration involved.
