The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt
The next-gen version of “The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt – Complete Edition” will include all previously released free DLC and major expansions and will be available for digital purchase on PlayStation 5. Xbox Series X | S and PC. It includes two expansions, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine.
Customers who own a PlayStation®4, Xbox®One, or PC will also receive a free update for next-generation consoles. A physical version of the game will be released after the digital version, with a specific release date to be announced later.
In addition to the next-generation console release. The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch will receive an update with numerous additions and improvements. The game was originally scheduled to be released last year. Still, after two delays, a new version was initially developed by third-party studio Saber Interactive. However, CD Projekt Red took over itself in April 2022 and persisted that it was “not in development hell.
The date for Q4 was pushed back to May, but given the impending end of the year and the two previous delays. Many were still concerned, but CD Projekt Red is going to meet its goals.
