Square Enix has released a celebratory video featuring developers of past and upcoming games, including “FFXIV” director and producer Naoki Yoshida, “FFVII” remake project producer Yoshinori Kitase, and “NieR” series creator Yokotaro. The video was released on March 31, 2012. Most of the messages are general congratulations.

Each development team member also thanks the viewers for their past work and expresses their enthusiasm for the upcoming games. As expected, Yoshida mentions FFXIV and FFXVI. Meanwhile, Yokowo Tarou explained the true meaning of “kin” in “Happy New Year.”

Yoshida mentioned that “FFXIV A Realm Reborn” will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2023. He also informed the audience that “FFXVI” would be released in June 2023. At 4:49 minutes, Mr Kitase informed the audience that “FFVII Rebirth” would be released. From 5:16 minutes, Mr Yokowo Tarou appeared with “NieR” series producer Yosuke Saito. After Saito notes the 5th anniversary of “NieR Automata” and its Switch port and the release of “Voice of Cards,” Yokotaro explains why each new year is “happy.”
Square Enix’s next game is predicted to be released on January 24, 2023, on PS5 and PC. 2023 will see the release of Final Fantasy XVI, Final Fantasy VII Revival, the final theatrical measurement line, and the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series Console versions and other releases planned.
