Winter is coming to Apex Legends, with the seasonal “Winter Tide” event occurring from December 6-27.

The Winter Tide Collection is the first of its kind in the world.
The Winter Tide Collection offers 24 new cosmetics and skins that can be purchased with real money or in-game currency. If you want to give your legend a spectacular makeover. Finally, and most importantly, Winter Express, a limited flag-capturing game mode, is back for this season.
A Frozen Welcome
According to EA’s announcement, the restricted items “pay homage to the terrifying winter. Legends designed to strike fear into the hearts of whoever your prey may be.”

You can buy them in-game with apex coins or craft metal or get an apex pack for the Winter Tide event. This season’s prestige skin is for ghouls and is called Apex Voidshifter and can only be obtained if you unlock all 24 other items.

You can also get exclusive cosmetics to enhance other legends by purchasing packs in the in-game store. For example, the Synthetic Huntress pack can be purchased for 2,500 Apex coins during the first week of Wintertide.
As for the events themselves, Winter Express is making a grand return, with a three-player team Capture the Flag mode in which players will have to chase down a mysterious train and get on it before their opponents, crossing the icy world in all its Christmas glory to earn the points needed to progress through the season-long event. The challenge is to get to the train before your opponent does and earn the points needed to progress through the season’s events.
The Event Rewards Tracker helps you keep an eye on your efforts. You can earn up to 1,600 points daily, and the challenge is updated every morning to keep you on your toes and grinding toward success.

As for Winter Express, the exclusive game mode, there are no major differences from past Wintertides, but the 24 cosmetic items are all new to Apex Legends. These items will most likely not appear in Wintertide 2023, so be sure to load them between December 6 and 27 if you don’t want to miss out.
