When is the release date for Hogwarts Legacy?
The developer has confirmed that Hogwarts Legacy will be release on February 10, 2023. It is currently available for pre-order at GAME and Argos.
It was previously rumored to be released close to Christmas, but that has now been ruled out. February, then.
Tell us about the gameplay of Hogwarts Legacy.
Hogwarts Legacy will be shown in a 14-minute Live stream on Thursday, March 17, 2022. During a PlayStation State of Play event hosted by Warner Bros Games under the Portkey Games label.

Various battles seem to take place in the game. The video above shows a battle in which the player uses various spells, environmental aids, and magical plants to defeat his enemies in skillful combos.

Players can also explore various hidden areas of Hogwarts itself, venture out onto the grounds, and even venture into Hogsmeade Village. Players will encounter dangerous dungeons and find puzzles Merlin may have set up.
They can upgrade their magic spells, use the skill tree to improve their abilities and visit the “Room of Requirement” to obtain useful items. In addition, you can create your personalized den-like area, which is a nice touch.
Don’t expect to see multiplayer in Hogwarts Legacy. The developers have recently dismissed the idea, emphasizing that this is a single-player game.
Can I pre-order “Hogwarts Legacy”?
Pre-orders for Hogwarts Legacy are already open, with GAME and Argos being two places you can head to to get your hands on the game when it launches this winter, and you can also pre-order the Switch version for £49.99 at GAME.
As for the price of Hogwarts Legacy, the next-gen version is expected to cost £69.99 and the previous-gen version £59.99. The difference between the two will probably be faster load times and better graphics in the next-generation console version.
You can also pre-order the Collector’s Edition of Hogwarts Legacy at GAME. This version costs £279.99 and includes the following content.

Hogwarts Legacy will be available on the next generation consoles PS5 and Xbox Series X, as well as PS4 and Xbox One, and also on PC. A Switch version of “Hogwarts Legacy” will also be available.
What is the story of “Hogwarts Legacy”?
As the official synopsis states, “Experience Hogwarts in the 1800s. Your character is a student who holds the key to an ancient secret that threatens to tear the wizarding world apart. Form alliances, fight dark wizards, and determine the fate of the wizarding world.
In other words, the story is set in a world long ago, at Hogwarts, but where no one knows Harry Potter. Also, while this is inspired by stories we’ve all read over the years, JK Rowling is not involved in this game, nor is this a new story from her.
From a recent gameplay video, we know that the player character’s appearance is customizable and that the gender can be chosen. The protagonist will be able to use mysterious lost magic that no one else can use and will enter Hogwarts late as a fifth-year student.
During the game, the protagonist will be involved in a conflict with a dark wizard and investigate rumors of a goblin uprising. And there are many challenges ahead, such as keeping up with schoolwork and catching up with more experienced classmates.
What spells and abilities will appear in Hogwarts Legacy?
The spells and abilities that will appear in Hogwarts Legacy are as follows.
- Accio: The power to pull things towards you.
- Avada Kedavra: A spell that kills!
- Descendo: Lift an object and hit it into the ground.
- Diffindo: Cut things into pieces and rip them apart.
- Disillusionment Charm: Want to be cloaked? This is the spell to use.
- Expelliarmus: Disarm your enemy or knocks any object out of the other person’s hands.
- Incendio: Lights an object on fire.
- Lumos: Form a sphere of light to see in the dark.
- Petrificus Totalus: Leaves an opponent immobilised.
- Protego: Forms a shield and deflects spells and weapons sent your way.
- Reparo: Restore broken items.
- Stupefy: Stun foes for a short period.
- Wingardium Leviosa: Let’s you float!
