Indie survival horror “Sons Of The Forest” took the Internet by storm when it was released. So it’s no surprise that a sequel is on the way in a place covered in trees.
But we’ll have to wait a little longer to return to “The Forest” and fight cannibalistic mutants.
The developer of Endnight Games explained on Twitter:” Due to the sheer size of our new game ‘Sons of the Forest,’ it has been difficult to pinpoint an exact release date and today we were forced to postpone it for the last time.”
They added, “Giving us time to complete the polishing we feel is necessary, we will release on February 23, 2023 at a price of 29.99USD.” They added. More information on this postponement, reservations and gameplay details can be found below.

The changing seasons
In spring and summer, rip fresh salmon straight from the river. In the cold winter, gather and preserve the meat. You are not alone on this island. When winter comes, and food and resources are scarce, you will not be the only one searching for a meal.
Collaborative Gameplay
Survive alone or with friends. Share items and work together to fortify your defenses. Call for backup to explore above and below ground.

When is the release date for Sons of the Forest?
The release date for Sons of the Forest has been confirmed as February 23, 2023.
Previously scheduled for release in May 2022 and October 2022, the game has been postponed twice and moved to the current date. However, Endnight Games has stated that this will be the last postponement, and it seems likely with the exact date and price now known.
What platforms will “Sons of the Forest” be available on?
Like many things about “the Forest,” this has yet to be revealed, but it seems very likely that “Sons of the Forest” will be available initially on PC and ported to PS4 and PS5 consoles later.
Microsoft Windows originally had The Forest, which was soon ported to PlayStation. However, there is no information on whether the game will also be available on Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
Can I make a reservation for Sons of the Forest?
Not yet. The release date has just been set for February 2023, so it will take some more time before the all-important pre-order link appears. As soon as the release date is set, we will update this page to save you the trouble of looking for it.

The forest seems to be making a return, but with the addition of modern buildings, at least it looks like you’ll be spending some time in them.
