Call of Duty has announced the official appointment of international soccer stars as operators in its latest titles. Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone Mobile. Three of soccer’s most popular stars, Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr. and Paul Pogba, will join the battlefield as new operators.

Call of Duty finally confirmed the news as the rumor gained prominence in the community. Soccer fans and CoD fans alike are understandably happy to see their idols taking to the battlefield of the game.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 has had a successful launch thus far. To further enhance this performance, Activision has confirmed that it will collaborate with FIFA to bring some of soccer’s biggest stars into the game.

A photo posted on Twitter by the official Call of Duty account shows Kevlar and Boots in the soccer locker room, with Messi, Neymar, and Pogba’s names on the kit, signaling their imminent appearance.

The post does not reveal the exact nature of this collaboration, but previous leaks have revealed that these players will appear in the game as operators. The leaked photos also show what Pogba and Neymar’s operators will look like, but Messi’s character remains a mystery.
