Dragonflight in 2023 – The Road Ahead

Blizzard Reveals Roadmap for “WoW Dragonflight 2023,” Plenty of Planned Content Coming in the Next 12 Months for the MMORPG’s Latest Expansion

It’s only been a few weeks since its release, but the roadmap for “WoW Dragonflight 2023” has been unveiled, revealing plenty of fast track left in the latest expansion pack for Blizzard’s venerable MMORPG. 2023 will feature two seasons, new raids, new zones, new dungeons, and much more; it looks like a pretty exciting year for Dragonflight.

Blizzard has provided preliminary and high-level details on Dragonflight’s plans for 2023. A total of six content patches are planned for next year, one at the start of Seasons 2 and 3, with the remaining four, planned for winter, spring, summer, and fall launches. Patch 10.0.5

As recently announced by the company, patch 10.0.5 is scheduled to arrive early in the new year and will include white and gray transmogs, a new trading post system, and some new content for the Primary Tomorrow area.

After this patch is delivered to the live servers, Blizzard has stated that patch 10.0.7 will be delivered to the World of Warcraft PTR. The patch will include a new quest campaign and repeatable world content set in Forbidden Reach. This storyline will allow players to learn more about Draktil and prepare them for the start of Season 2 and the next big chapter in Dragonflight, which will be available in Patch 10.1.

This update will launch a new season of PvP, along with new zones, new raids, a new mythic+ dungeon pool, professional updates, and user interface improvements. After that, we expect to receive the 10.1.5 and 10.1.7 patches in the summer and fall, respectively.

Patch 10.0.7 Content Update

Shortly after that, we will release the 10.0.7 content update to the public test realm, which will include a new quest campaign and repeatable world content set in Forbidden Reach, and will bring the Doctors back to their captivity to learn more about their origins. They will return to their captivity (along with unexpected guests) to learn more about their origins and destiny. This content will set up the next major chapter of Dragonflight, and at its conclusion, it should be obvious what the next destination will be. In addition to this new content, we will be adding quest lines on human and orc cosmetic heritage armor and regular holiday updates.

In addition, content updates 10.1.5 and 10.1.7 are planned for the second half of the year, which will be sandwiched between the second and third major updates. We do not seek a specific formula for the size or shape of these updates, but the goal is simply more Warcraft, i.e., more stories, more content, more rewards, more events, more technology improvements, and shorter downtime between them It will be. I don’t want to spoil everything, and I’m sure there will be at least two surprises that no one expects. Also, some details have yet to be determined because your feedback will help us decide what to prioritize in these updates.
