Konami has unveiled the lineup for Tokyo Game Show 2022, which includes an unannounced new title.
The presentation will last 45 minutes and feature voice actor Hiroki Kaji “as a guest representing fans of the world’s favorite series titles,” Gematsu reports.
Of course, Konami’s most extensive series are Silent Hill, Castlevania, and Metal Gear Solid, but don’t get your hopes up.
The inclusion of Mr. Kaji is concerning. This voice actor has a long history of voicing characters in anime and movies. In video games, he has displayed characters in anime spin-offs and JRPGs such as “Shin Megami Tensei,” “Ys,” and “Fire Emblem,” as well as Link in the “Hyrule Warriors” series.
In addition, since his participation is as a “fan representative,” it is possible that his presentation will have nothing to do with his work.
The showcase is scheduled to take place on September 16. The full lineup can be viewed at Konami.
Other titles in the lineup include eFootball 2023, Super Bomberman R 2, and Yu-Gi-Oh!
Other Konami properties include a Silent Hill 2 remake said to be in the works by the Bloober Team.
Also, the temporarily removed “Metal Gear” game is slated to return to the digital store. Could a remake be in the works?
Xbox also exhibited digitally, bringing the entire Tokyo Game Show 2022 close.
