Save Disney’s Dreamlight Valley introduces a host of familiar characters, including those who will appear later in the game.

Disney Dreamlight Valley characters will be your neighbors and friends in this adorable farming simulation game. You’ll have the chance to join familiar faces from your favourite animated films in their adventures. This Disney game is still in Early Access, so characters that are not yet available will be introduced later in the game.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is both a life simulation and a story-driven game; some of the characters that appear will be part of that story. Other characters can be chosen and unlocked in any order from Dreamcastle. Still, if you read our Disney Dreamlight Valley Guide in advance, we recommend that you spend your Dreamlight on other things before unlocking too many areas. Here are the Disney Dreamlight Valley characters in the story, the ones you can currently rescue and those that have yet to appear.

All active characters in Disney’s Dreamlight Valley and how to find them

The first character in Dreamlight Valley is Merlin from The Sword in the Stone. He is an integral part of your journey in Disney’s Dreamlight Valley, teaching you how things work and how to use your magical powers. As you progress through the valley, more characters will appear, including Mickey Mouse from the house next door.

Here is a list of all the people you will meet as you continue your journey to bring Dreamlight Valley to life in this new land.

  • Merlin: He will meet you at the start of Disney’s Dreamlight Valley.
  • Scrooge McDuck: He waits for you in front of his rundown store in the plaza.
  • Mickey Mouse: our plaza neighbour and the character who never leaves the valley.
  • Goofy: Trapped in the Peaceful Meadow.
  • Ursula Unlock Dazzle Beach, and Merlin will help you discover the cave.
  • Kristoff: When you unlock the Forest of Courage, Kristoff is waiting to rescue you.
  • Donald Duck: Rescued through a dark door in the Forest of Courage.
  • Mother Goselle: Once you unlock the “Glade of Trust,” you must enter the large cursed tree where Mother Goselle is trapped and help her get out.
  • Minnie Mouse: Complete the quest with Mickey Mouse to interact with him and bring him home.
  • Ariel: Goofy: Complete the quest “The Mysterious Wreck” with Goofy, and you will be able to go to the secret island where Ariel lives.
  • Eric: You can bring Eric back to the valley by completing quests with Ariel and increasing your friendship level.

Merlin will teach you how to open the “Castle of Dreams” early in the game and give you access to the realm for your character. In this realm, you can go to where the added characters live and bring them home. Future characters will also be introduced to the game in this way.

Currently, only four realms are accessible. Moana, Ratatouille, Wall-E, and Anna and the Snow Queen, but more have already been announced. There are already more than 30 doors in the Dream Castle, and more are expected to be added endlessly. The characters currently available from Realm are as follows.

Disney Dreamlight Valley characters are scheduled to appear

From what we know about the game, we have already begun to speculate who will appear in these other realms. More characters will be introduced in Disney Dreamlight Valley during early access or after the free release. Story and Lion King characters were announced in the first Disney Dreamlight Valley expansion. Belle and Ralph appear in the official trailer but are not currently in the game. The available clothing and furniture sets also suggest that other franchises, such as Monsters, Inc, may be included.

As we have mentioned, these characters will most likely appear in Dreamlight Valley through the realm, but Gameloft has confirmed that Lion King characters will appear throughout the main storyline, possibly through the existing elephant graveyard on Sunlit Plateau. It is expected that they will make an appearance. Here are some of the characters expected to appear in the future.

The above characters are in the trailer, but we hope other franchise characters will join them because there is no Sally without Mike Wazowski or Stitch without Lilo.
