Aniplex announced that “NieR: Automata Ver1.1a.” The TV anime adaptation of the game “NieR: Automata” will begin airing on January 7, 2023. A new trailer called “Promotion File 008” was released for the first time.

It was also announced that a special program introducing new information about the anime would be broadcast on YouTube on December 28 at 20:00. Presenters will be Yui Ishikawa, Natsuki Hanae, Kaoru Akiyama, Yosuke Saito, and Shota Fujii.

Nier: Yoko Taro’s quirky but heartfelt action RPG, Nier. Automata is getting an anime adaptation and will be available on Crunchyroll early next year. The show was announced in February and officially titled Nier: According to Crunchyroll, Nier: Automata Ver 1.1a will be available sometime next month.

But Taro said in a recent video that there are some changes. Part of the game’s fun is the 26 different endings and the story that unfolds from several different perspectives. We will have to wait and see if and how the show includes them.

While few details about NieR: Automata Ver. 1.1a has been revealed, and Aniplex has released some details, revealing that the voice actors for 2B and 9S, Yui Ishikawa and Natsuki Hanae, will appear again in the production.

Pods 42 and 153 will also be voiced by Hiroki Yasumoto and Kaoru Akiyama, meeting fans’ expectations. Ryoji Masuyama will direct, and Studio A-1 Pictures will produce the animation.

The character design will be by Jun Nakai, and the music will be by Keiichi Okabe’s Studio MONACA. Monaca is responsible for the original music for the game, so it is sure to be a good one.

Aniplex announced an animated television adaptation of Square Enix and Platinum Games’ action role-playing game “NieR: Automata” along with a teaser trailer during Wednesday’s “NieR: Automata 5th Anniversary Livestream.”
