Coffee Stain North, developer of “Goat Simulator 3,” posted an ad for its open-world epic simulator using leaked footage from this year’s “GTA 6,” which caught the attention of “Grand Theft Auto” publisher Take-Two The video has since been copyrighted and is now under investigation by Take-Two, the publisher of Grand Theft Auto.

The video has since been removed from the video platform due to copyright claims. Still, according to those who could view the video before it was removed (thanks, Eurogamer), the ad featured a character named Shaun, who was interviewed about working on Goat Simulator 3. He was interviewed and boasted about his skills in creating physical animations of ragdolls.

However, when Shaun talked about his work outside of Goat Simulator 3, the video turned, and he said, “There are other things in the pipeline, other big game worlds.” You can see me in the footage that was leaked a few months ago.” This was followed by an edited version of the leaked Grand Theft Auto VI footage, which Take-Two did not like and subsequently erased the footage in question from the Internet.

Goat Simulator 3

This is always the natural consequence of things, and now the ad cannot be seen anywhere Coffee Stain North posted it. It wouldn’t be surprising if the studio had already foreseen this and was looking for a way to generate a little holiday buzz for Goat Simulator 3. I mean, it’s suddenly all over the news, which is why we’re writing about it here, right?

The game has been out for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S for exactly a month now, back in November, and there hasn’t been much buzz around it other than sickos at Goat. In the past, the series has referenced other games in its advertising, including the original Goat Simulator 3 announcement trailer that parodied the Dead Island 2 announcement trailer in June.

We have contacted Coffee Stain North and Take-Two for comment on this matter.

The Grand Theft Auto VI leak occurred in September and was an unprecedentedly early introduction to one of the most anticipated games in the medium. However, Take-Two was not happy about it and tried to keep as much information off the Internet as possible, even locking down social media responses so that people could not share or discuss the leak on their social channels. We went through all the leaked footage and compiled its key pieces.
